A municipality in Marion County, Florida, known as the City of Ocala, as originally
incorporated by Laws of Fla., ch. 7676(1917), is hereby abolished. A municipality
of the State of Florida, to be located in Marion County, is hereby created. The inhabitants
of the City of Ocala, as its limits are hereby fixed, or may hereafter be fixed, shall
be a body corporate by the name of CITY OF OCALA, and as such shall have perpetual
succession.
