§ 78-195. Governmental use tree removal permits.

(a)

Issuance. Governmental use (G-U) tree removal permits shall be granted by the tree commission.

(b)

Permit required. Removal of a tree from any governmental property shall not occur until a G-U tree removal permit has been obtained from the tree commission, except for exempted cases.

(c)

Approval of replacement trees. The number, types, sizes and locations of replacement shade trees to be planted to make up for the trees removed must be approved by the tree commission before a G-U tree removal permit will be issued.
