§ 78-173. Powers and duties.

The board of adjustment shall have the following powers and duties:

(1)

Hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by: (a) the building official in the enforcement of the zoning code (chapter 122); or (b) made my any other city official in the enforcement of any other provision of this Code when such appeal is expressly authorized by this Code.

(2)

Authorize special exceptions as provided in the zoning code or any other provision of this Code that expressly authorizes special exceptions.

(3)

Authorize variances as provided in the zoning code or any other provision of this Code that expressly authorizes variances.
