§ 70-395. Master water meters.

  • Master water meters shall be prohibited from use in the determination of water consumption charges to any multiunit residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, recreational, governmental or public building or structure of any kind which is constructed or remodeled and in which plumbing, water piping or water fixtures are to be installed, extended or altered in any way, and for which a construction permit is required to be obtained from the city or which is to be connected to the city potable water system. The provisions of this division shall apply to any such new or remodeled building or structure for which a building permit is issued by the city, or would otherwise be required to be issued but for an exemption, on or after the effective date of the ordinance from which this division is derived (December 18, 1996).
