§ 6-5. Hours of sale.

  • (a)

    The hours and times during which alcoholic and intoxicating beverages may be sold, consumed or served, or permitted to be served or consumed, in any place or on any premises defined as a business establishment shall be:

    (1)

    For each day of the week except Sunday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. the following day; and

    (2)

    On Sunday:

    a.

    Alcoholic beverages may be sold for consumption on the premises only, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on Monday.

    b.

    Beer, ale and wine may be sold in sealed containers for consumption off the premises only, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on Monday.

    c.

    Except as set forth in subsection (a)(2)b. of this section (concerning sale of beer, ale and wine sealed containers for consumption off the premises), no alcoholic beverages may be sold for consumption off the premises after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday until 7:00 a.m. on Monday.

    (b)

    No person shall sell, consume, serve, or permit to be served or consumed, in any place holding a license issued by the state division of alcoholic beverages and tobacco any alcoholic beverages in violation of this section or during times other than those set forth in this section.
