§ 58-34. Separation of curb cuts on arterial and collector streets.

  • (a)

    The minimum curb cut spacing on any arterial or collector roadway shall be 150 feet in all zoning categories except one- and two-family zoning districts.

    (b)

    Waivers of the requirements contained in this section may be approved by the city council upon receipt of a recommendation from the city's traffic engineer.

    (c)

    The determination of whether a road is an arterial or collector roadway shall be determined pursuant to the definitions of such terms set forth in section 114-3. By way of illustration, and without limitation, the following shall be considered arterial roads:

    (1)

    N.E. Eighth Avenue;

    (2)

    N.E. 14th Street;

    (3)

    N.E. and S.E. 36th Avenue;

    (4)

    S.E. and S.W. 17th Street;

    (5)

    Silver Springs Boulevard (SR 40);

    (6)

    N.W. and S.W. 27th Avenue;

    (7)

    S.W. College Road (SR 200);

    (8)

    N.E. and S.E. 25th Avenue;

    (9)

    U.S. 27;

    (10)

    Pine Avenue;

    (11)

    Magnolia Avenue;

    (12)

    Maricamp Road;

    (13)

    Fort King Street from Pine Street to the west city limits;

    (14)

    Fort King Street from S.E. 16th Avenue to the east city limits;

    (15)

    N.E. Seventh Street;

    (16)

    N.W. and S.W. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

    (18)

    S.W. 20th Street (Airport Road);

    (19)

    Magnolia Extension;
