§ 42-12. Allowing washwater to flow into street.

  • The water from wash-downs of buildings, and from the washing of pavements and cars, shall not be permitted to flow into the street unless the building or filling station is so located that the water will immediately disappear in a gutter or storm sewer and will not settle on any street or public area or create a dangerous or unsanitary condition on any city street or private property. The superintendent of public works shall make regular inspections of the city streets and shall determine which filling stations are in violation of this section.
