§ 2-232. Duties.

  • The city clerk shall give notice of council meetings to its members and the public, keep the journal of its proceedings, act as secretary to the city council, have charge of the seal of the city, authenticate by his signature all ordinances and resolutions, which shall be recorded in full in a book kept for the purpose, and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the city council.
