§ 23-6. Marking of graves.

In order to secure recognition of graves and to prevent mistakes, each grave shall be marked by the funeral home in charge of the burial, placing at the head thereof a stake marked with a number corresponding to the number of the burial permit, and such stakes shall remain until permanent monuments or headstones are erected by the friends, relatives or the estate of the deceased.
