§ 122-402. Building permits, certificates of zoning compliance and certificates of occupancy.
Latest version.
No building permit or certificate of zoning compliance, or certificate of occupancy,
shall be issued for development in an RZL zone except in conformity with the provisions
of the RZL classification and requested plans approved under this Code. The building
official may issue building permits after construction plans are approved by the city
council, thereby permitting building construction as necessary improvements are installed.
No certificate of occupancy shall be issued until all improvements have been completed
and the final plat of record or approved phase of the project has been recorded in
the public records of the county. If no plat is to be recorded, a statement from the
city attorney is required certifying that the requirements of F.S. ch. 177 have been
met, as well as any ordinances pertaining to the transferring of land in subdivisions.
