§ 122-91. Generally.

The board of adjustment shall authorize, upon appeal from the decision of the building official, in specific cases, such variance from the terms of this chapter as will not be contrary to the public interest where, owing to special conditions, a literal enforcement of the provisions of this chapter would result in practical difficulties. No variances shall be granted with respect to property zoned PUD, SC, or FBC.
