§ 110-101. Sign code board of adjustment.

(a)

The zoning board of adjustment is hereby designated as the sign code board of adjustment, and is authorized to:

(1)

Hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the building official in the enforcement of this chapter.

(2)

Grant variances to this chapter in specific cases where such variance will not be contrary to the public interest, and where, due to special conditions, a literal enforcement of the provisions of this chapter would result in unnecessary hardship.

(b)

All requirements, procedures, findings and appeals of variances shall follow those provisions provided for zoning variances in chapter 122.
