§ 106-33. Legal status; applicability.

  • (a)

    The comprehensive plan has legal status as set out in F.S. § 163.3194.

    (b)

    After October 22, 1991, no public or private development shall thereafter be permitted except in conformity with the adopted comprehensive plan.

    (c)

    In furtherance of this objective, the council declares its intent and policy that all future nonregulatory and regulatory development actions shall be in accordance with the comprehensive plan.

    (d)

    Where ordinances or policies of the city in effect prior to the adoption of the comprehensive plan may be in conflict with the plan, the applicable provisions or portions of the adopted comprehensive plan shall govern.
