§ 102-31. Title of article; applicability; interpretation.

This article shall be known as the Potable Water Wellhead Protection Ordinance. The provisions of this article shall be effective within the boundaries of the city, and shall set prohibitions and restrictions to prevent contamination of the public potable water supply in the city due to hazardous and toxic substances entering the groundwater. This article shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes set forth in this article.
